Lyon will be without injured winger Michel Bastos when they face Real Madrid in their Champions League second-leg clash at the Bernabeu.

The 26-year-old Brazilian suffered an unspecified muscle ailment after he was injured during the Ligue 1 game against Boulogne.

Bastos was replaced by Miralem Pjanic eight minutes before the end of that game which finished goal-less.

"It is bad news for Olympique Lyonnais," read a statement on the club's website, which reported that the 26-year-old had been ruled out of Wednesday's game with "a muscle problem".

Lyon, who are also missing injured duo François Clerc and Anderson, won the first leg 1-0 at the Stade de Gerland.
