Fiorentina Pres expects Prandelli stay

Fiorentina president Diego Della Valle insists coach Cesare Prandelli will remain at the club next season.

Prandelli has been linked with a move to Juventus once Alberto Zaccheroni's contract with the Turin giants ends this summer.

"I don´t see a problem regarding Prandelli," said Della Valle to Corriere dello Sport after his team's elimination from the Champions League at the hands of Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.

"He has one year left in his contract and I see no reason why he should leave, we are very happy with him."

Prandelli joined the Viola in 2005 and led the Florence outfit to the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup in the 2007-08 campaign.

Fiorentina finished fourth in Serie A last season to earn qualification to the Champions League.

The Viola currently lie 11th in the standings, 11 points behind fourth-place Palermo, who hold the last Champions League qualifying spot.
