Casillas devastated by defeat
Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas was left stunned after his team crashed out of the Champions League on Wednesday.
Madrid lost 2-1 on aggregate to Lyon after drawing their second leg 1-1 at the Bernabeu.
Speaking to AS, Casillas said: It's hard to digest because it is a competition where we have high hopes, especially for those of us who have been here for a long time. It's a new blow for Real Madrid, but we must recover."
Casillas said that the disappointment was even bigger given that the final will be played on Real's home ground.
"Thinking about the final weighs on our shoulders even more. We must shoulder our share of the blame, but we must be calm because what is said in the heat of the moment may be misinterpreted.
"We all have a lot of anger and in the dressing room we are all riled up," revealed the keeper.
