AC Milan's veteran striker Filippo Inzaghi believes this year's squad is strong enough to challenge for European glory.

By their own high standards, Milan have been on something of a downward spiral in the past few years.

Inter Milan have become the dominant force domestically and as if that was not enough, the Nerazzurri went on to win the treble last season as well.

However, with the arrivals of Robinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Inzaghi is confident Milan finally have a strike force capable of destroying the best defences.

Speaking to Studio Sport, he said: "Our attack? It's fantastic. It's one that can make us win the Champions League. We cannot hide now.

"There are many targets ahead of me. I am very proud to be playing for Milan. It's always a privilege for me."

Inzaghi has played 190 games for Milan, scoring 71 goals in the process. Prior to that he represented Juventus 122 times and scored 58 goals.
