TP Mazembe vs Pohang Steelers Preview
Pohang Steelers striker Denilson admits his side are heading into the unknown when they face TP Mazembe in the Club World Cup.
African powerhouses Mazembe, from the Democratic Republic of Congo, have pedigree on their own continent - they have won the CAF Champions League three times - but remain an unknown quantity to Pohang's Brazilian star.
He told www.FIFA.com: "There are no easy teams in the Club World Cup.
"We don't know much about Mazembe, but they must be good because of the teams they've beaten to get here. It will be a tough match but we intend to win it."
Korean side Pohang's run to their third Asian Champions League success was built around a strong defence and the goals of Denilson.
Mazembe boss Diego Garzitto is wary of the South American, who scored seven goals in their continental success.
He said: "We've watched videos of several of Pohang's games and some of my friends in Asia have given me advice.
"I know they've got some excellent players and Denilson on the right wing stands out."
Garzitto is likely to have top-scorer Mabi Mputu fit to lead the attack alongside Dioko Kaluyituka and Mulota Kabangu.
The winners will play Copa Libertadores champions Estudiantes La Plata in the semi-finals.
