Capello: "Jagielka will play Bulgaria!"

Speaking at a press conference, Fabio Capello confirmed Phil Jagielka had fully recovered from a bruised ankle.

Speaking at a press conference, the England manager said: "He's [Jagielka] fit and trained well. The pain is a little better and tomorrow he will be at 100 per cent.

"I'm not concerned but I know the players I select tomorrow will play for the first time together. I hope they will be really focusing every moment of the game and [Ashley] Cole and [Glen] Johnson will help these players."

"The keeper [Joe] Hart, and [Wayne] Rooney, Steve [Gerrard], [Gareth] Barry, Cole, Johnson and Jagielka, yes. I know 10 or 11 who will play, with a little confusion about one wing, " Capello revealed.

Capello also spoke about his players current physical condition.

"The training was really good. The players are pl and also some things are getting better, with the problems from the last two days," the 64-year-old said.

"We trained at Wembley because it is important to know the pitch really well to decide which kind of boots you need for tomorrow."

The Italian also mocked the English press for their criticism of his management of the Three Lions, believing that he would be better off focusing on what he did than giving credence to brickbats from pundits.

He said: "I changed some things and I learned something from the games. I changed, but not a lot.

"When we win, we're the best, and when we lose, we're the worst.

"It's easy to be happy when you win but I am focused on the next game we play."
