Van Marwijk: No Dutch complacency

Netherlands coach Bert van Marwijk has warned against complacency when they play Moldova in Saturday's Euro 2012 qualifier.

Van Marwijk accepts his team will be expected to continue their perfect start to Group E with a comfortable victory, but knows his players cannot afford to under-estimate Moldova.

"Of course we should just win in Moldova. But they have a fanatical crowd, and we will be playing football on a poor pitch. We must concentrate 100% on the game," he said in De Telegraaf.

The Dutch claimed six points from their opening two matches last month with wins over San Marino and Finland to sit second in the pool behind Sweden - their opponents at the Amsterdam ArenA on Tuesday - on goal difference.

Van Marwijk on Monday dropped Manchester City midfielder Nigel de Jong from his squad as punishment for his weekend tackle which broke Hatem Ben Arfa's leg.

The Oranje coach also lost Hamburg forward Eljero Elia, FC Twente midfielder Theo Janssen and Ajax left-back Vurnon Anita from his group through injury this week. They joined Valencia defender Hedwiges Maduro and PSV Eindhoven's Wilfred Bouma on the sidelines along with Arsenal forward Robin van Persie and Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben.

Twente midfielder Wout Brama and Ajax winger Urby Emanuelson have been drafted into Van Marwijk's squad as cover.

Also in Group E, third-placed Hungary will be looking to build on their win over Moldova last time out by beating minnows San Marino at the Ferenc Puskas Stadion in Budapest.

Hungary coach Sandor Egervari will be without defensive duo Pal Lazar and Zoltan Liptak through suspension, which could signal the involvement of Under-21 defender Adam Pinter for the first time in the senior set-up.

San Marino, who lost their opening two qualifiers 5-0 and 6-0 to Holland and Sweden respectively, will be without their all-time leading scorer Andy Selva due to a calf strain.
