1st semi-final: Germany vs. Turkey

22nd minute: Germany 0-1 Turkey
A short throw in catches out the German defence and a cross from Sabri Sarioglu is diverted onto the bar for the second time by Colin Kazim-Kazim. The ball bounces of the crossbar and lands to Ugur Boral who scambles the ball past Jens Lehmann and into the goal.
26th minute: Germany 1-1 Turkey
In familiar fashion to his goal against Portugal, Bastian Schweinsteiger chipped in a low cross from the left wing provided by Lukas Podolski after darting towards the front post and lifting the ball deftly over Rustu Recber in the Turkish goal.
46th minute: Half time
Despite being weakend by numerous injuries to key players, the Turks have come out fighting in the first semi-final of the Euro 2008 championships, cause plenty of problems for the German defence. Colin Kazim-Kazim hit the cross bar in the 12th minute, and did again in the 22nd minute to set up the Ugur Boral's goal.
The Germans got right back in it though Schweinsteiger and with the scores level again the result of this match could well come down to who can come out firing first at the start of the second half.
With the passionate German and Turkish fans creating a fantastic atmosphere, and the Turks bringing the game to the Germans it promises to be a great second half.
79th minute: Germany 2-1 Turkey
Miroslav Klose heads into an empty net after Rustu Recber comes out and fails to reach a cross from the Phillipp Lahm from the left wing.
86th minute: Germany 2-2 Turkey
Sabri Sarioglu turns away from Phillipp Lahm a whips in cross which is met by Semih Senturk at the near post who pokes the ball in.
90th minute: Germany 3-2 Turkey
Phillipp Lahm fires Germany into the lead once again after a making a forty yard run and playing one-two with Thomas Hitzlsperger, which he capped off with a brilliant finish to send Germany into the Euro 2008 final.
