CHELSEA 3-0 BIRMINGHAM
- Chelsea have scored 17 goals in their last four games - all without Didier Drogba who was at the African Cup of Nations.
- The Blues recorded their 11th clean sheet of the season - more than any other club so far.
- Carlo Ancelotti's side have won 34 out of a possible 36 points at home this season.
- John Terry registered his 300th league appearance.
- Birmingham suffered their first defeat in 16 games in all competitions.
- They have also failed to beat Chelsea in 17 games in all competitions.
ASTON VILLA 0-0 ARSENAL
- Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 11 visits to Villa Park.
- Aston Villa have failed to score in their last four league games - their longest run without a goal under Martin O'Neill. In contrast, Villa have scored ten goals in their last three Cup ties.
- Villa still hold the joint-best defensive record with 18 goals conceded along with Chelsea.
