Saturday's BPL team news
espnstar.com brings you all the latest team news ahead of this Saturday's matches in the Barclays Premier League.
Blackburn Rovers vs Hull City
Hull manager Phil Brown has just one injury worry ahead of his side's trip to face Blackburn at Ewood Park on Saturday.
The Tigers performed above expectations to claim their maiden Premier League win at the first attempt against Fulham last week and if George Boateng (thigh) is passed fit they could stick with the XI which started that match.
If Boateng misses out the likes of Dean Marney and Peter Halmosi will come into contention, while Caleb Folan is pushing for a start after scoring the winning goal last time out after coming from the bench.
Brett Emerton will return to the Blackburn squad as they look to build on their winning start to the season.
The Australia international missed Rovers' opening-day win at Everton with a foot injury sustained against Benfica in pre-season but is back in contention after a successful return to full training.
Manager Paul Ince, no doubt buoyed by Roque Santa Cruz's decision to sign a new four-year contract, has no other injury problems after his players returned unscathed from the mid-week internationals as he looks for a first success at Ewood Park.

Fulham vs Arsenal
Arsenal winger Samir Nasri has shaken off a thigh problem which kept him out of international action with France in midweek and is set to face Fulham on Saturday.
New signing Mikael Silvestre may not feature in the Barclays Premier League match because of a muscle strain, but Cameroon midfielder Alexander Song comes back into contention after his return from the Olympic Games.
Cesc Fabregas (hamstring), Abou Diaby (thigh), Philippe Senderos (hamstring), Amaury Bischoff (groin), Tomas Rosicky (hamstring) and striker Eduardo (leg) remain in recovery.
Fulham will once again be missing striker Andrew Johnson for the clash.
Johnson is still receiving treatment for his thigh strain and is not expected to return for three weeks.
Seol Ki-Hyeon will continue his strike partnership alongside Bobby Zamora with Fulham enduring no fresh injuries following their 2-1 defeat by Hull.
Teams:
Fulham (from): Schwarzer, Zuberbuhler, Stockdale, Stoor, Pantsil, Hangeland, Hughes, Konchesky, Kallio, Andreasen, Bullard, Murphy, Davies, Gera, Andranik, Zamora, Nevland, Dempsey, Baird, Seol, E Johnson, Smertin.

Liverpool vs Middlesbrough
Liverpool will be without defender Sami Hyypia for the home Premier League game with Middlesbrough after the veteran picked up a hamstring injury playing for Finland in midweek.
But boss Rafael Benitez will have Dutch winger Ryan Babel back in the squad now he has returned from the Olympics.
Both Argentina captain Javier Mascherano and Brazilian midfielder Lucas will also return to Merseyside next week.
Lucas was part of the Brazil side which won the bronze medal in Beijing after defeating Belgium on Friday while Mascherano figures in the Olympic final against Nigeria on Saturday.
Justin Hoyte could make his debut for Middlesbrough after he was signed too late to join the squad for last week's game against Tottenham.
Manager Gareth Southgate will check on the fitness of Egyptian duo Mido and Mohamed Shawky, but of whom were on international duty against Sudan on Wednesday.
Midfielder Julio Arca is sidelined for another three weeks with an ankle injury.

Newcastle United vs Bolton Wanderers
Newcastle striker Michael Owen will be on the bench against Bolton on Saturday after persuading manager Kevin Keegan he is ready to return.
The 28-year-old has impressed in training over the last few days after shaking off the after-effects of a bout of mumps and a calf injury, and his name will be on the teamsheet.
Steven Taylor has recovered from an ankle problem picked up at Manchester United last Sunday, but Mark Viduka (Achilles) and Claudio Cacapa (hamstring) are still out, while Joey Barton continues his quest for match fitness.
Bolton manager Gary Megson has no injury concerns.
Striker Heidar Helguson has recovered from the hernia problem that ruled him out of last weekend's promising opening-day victory over Stoke at the Reebok Stadium.
Megson therefore appears likely to stick with the XI who saw off the newly-promoted Potters, with record signing Johan Elmander leading the line up front once again.

Stoke City vs Aston Villa
Stoke are waiting for the arrival of work permits for new recruits Abdoulaye Faye and Haminu Dramani ahead of their first home game in the Premier League against Aston Villa on Saturday.
Centre-back Faye, a £2.25million signing from Newcastle, is expected to go straight into Tony Pulis' team if clearance is received, while Dramani, a winger on loan from Locomotiv Moscow, would be in contention for a place on the bench.
Amdy Faye could also make his debut, while Pulis will make late fitness checks on forwards Ricardo Fuller and Liam Lawrence.
Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill has named an unchanged squad.
O'Neill has no new injury problems and is keeping faith with the players in action during the impressive 4-2 win over Manchester City last weekend.
Midfielder Steve Sidwell and recent signing, defender Carlos Cuellar, are making good progress from calf injuries but will not be considered against Tony Pulis's side.
Teams:
Stoke (from): Sorensen, Griffin, Wilkinson, Cort, Shawcross, Dickinson, Lawrence, Delap, Olofinjana, Whelan, Amdy Faye, Cresswell, Sidibe, Kitson, Fuller, Simonsen, Pugh, Diao, Parkin, Pericard, Abdoulaye Faye, Dramani.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Sunderland
Tottenham full-back Alan Hutton will miss the Premier League clash against Sunderland as he recovers from a stress fracture of his right foot.
Midfielder Jamie O'Hara is back in full training after a neck complaint, while Tom Huddlestone has been struggling with an ankle injury.
Head coach Juande Ramos will talk to Dimitar Berbatov, who has handed in a transfer request, before deciding whether the striker will play.
Midfielder Teemu Tainio will miss Sunderland's trip to his former club because of a muscle strain.
New signings Djibril Cisse and David Healy are in the squad for the game at White Hart Lane, but Cisse will require international clearance if he is to make his debut after joining from Marseille.

West Bromwich Albion vs Everton
West Brom manager Tony Mowbray will make a late decision on whether to give a debut to £3.2million summer signing Gianni Zuiverloon against Everton at The Hawthorns on Saturday.
The former Heerenveen defender has been suffering from jet lag since returning from Olympic Games action with Holland earlier this week.
Midfielder Robert Koren and striker Luke Moore are back in contention after missing the single goal reversal by Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium through injury.
Centre-back Neil Clement is still ruled out with a knee setback but could return after the next international break in early September.
Everton have injury doubts over teenage defender Dan Gosling (thigh) and skipper Phil Neville (ankle).
With Tim Cahill a month away from a return after a foot injury, boss David Moyes has no additions to the squad that lost 3-2 at home to Blackburn last weekend.
Nigerian Victor Anichebe, who is involved in the Olympics final against Argentina on Saturday will return to Merseyside on Sunday to bolster the Toffees' squad when Moyes will get to assess the striker's thigh injury.
