Everton to rebuff City’s Lescott bid
Everton are set to dismiss any enquiries made by Barclays Premier League rival Manchester City for Joleon Lescott.
Reports are indicating that Man City are prepared to make a £15 million for Lescott.
The Toffees have declared that they have not received any bids for their England defender, and insist that they will reject any offers for Lescott.
Everton boss David Moyes does not want to sell any of his core squad members this offseason, with Lescott probably having to hand in a transfer request should he want out of Goodison Park.
Lescott has risen to become one of the best defenders in the BPL since moving to Everton from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2006 for a bargain £5 million.
