Kun: Flores’ methods are inspiring
Sergio Aguero has endorsed Quique Sanchez Flores’ training methods, as Atletico Madrid have gained confidence in their play recently.
Aguero bagged a brace coming off the bench in Atletico's 2-2 draw against Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League but says he has not heard from Flores if he will be starting this weekend's derby against Real Madrid on Saturday.
"Quique came in and like ever trainer he has his own way. We have to comply and do things he tells us during the game. He asks us that we concentrate for 90 minutes, and we can hear him from the touchline," Aguero said.
"Quique speaks to us all, the strikers and the defenders. When we have to defend, we all must defend but when we attack we do so with pure freedom. It gives us great confidence to have a fixed position on the field.
"I have not spoken with Quique of whether I can play or not [against Real Madrid], for now I have a good feeling."
