Juventus boss Ciro Ferrara believes his team has the quality required to reduce the seven-point gap that separates Juve from Inter Milan.

"Having continuity in our results is important," he told Il Corriere dello Sport.

"After that match against Maccabi Haifa, our desire is to dive back into the championship and catch up.

"We must have the strength, enthusiasm, and the belief to work hard and take every chance until the very end. I repeat, we have the quality to reduce this gap."

While Juventus have hit their stride in the Champions League, only conceding a single goal in the competition so far, their defence has not been that impenetrable in the Italian top flight.

"It's hard to understand why this has happened, but certainly it is a statistic that makes us think," said the Old Lady's boss.

"Whether it's the Champions League or [Serie A] championship, I am sure we can be winners. We want to improve and must be more careful."
