Two own goals condemned Spartak Moscow to a 2-1 defeat at Krylya Sovetov.

Martin Stranzl and goalkeeper Soslan Dzanaev put through their own net in the 11th and 14th minutes to gift the hosts a 2-0 lead.

Alex Meschini grabbed a consolation in the 90th minute for Spartak, who remained a point behind leaders Rubin Kazan.

Spartak have two games left to play this season, while Rubin have three.

FC Moscow's faint title hopes are over after they let slip a two-goal lead and then snatched a late equaliser in a 3-3 draw at Kuban Krasnodar.

Alexei Rebko (30) and Martin Jakubko (35) put Moscow two up before Georgi Dzhioev (69) Dramane Traore (73) and Haminu Draman (84) turned the match on its head.

But Rebko scored his second two minutes from time to earn a point for the visitors, who are eight points behind Rubin.

Elsewhere, FC Khimki, who have already been relegated, lost 3-1 at home to Tomsk and Saturn Moscow won 2-1 at Rostov.
