Ranieri blasts Mourinho antics
Claudio Ranieri was left fuming by some of the post-match remarks by Jose Mourinho.
Ranieri's Roma side managed to hold Inter Milan to a 1-1 draw, a result which did not go down well with Mourinho.
The Portuguese coach claimed that Roma did not play to win and that their tactics were negative.
Speaking to Sky, Ranieri retorted:"Of course I am satisfied with this result, and I am pleased that the unity of the group was proven tonight,
"When at their best, Inter are a very tough team to play against, but the Italian league is very tight this season."
As for Mourinho's post-match comments, Ranieri candidly added: "Mourinho? He's always complaining. There were a number of fouls tonight, but we didn't complain, we just continued to play.
"It surprises me that he has complained about the referee, it's just something he always has to do. Does he know that his side were awarded double the amount of fouls than us?
"Mourinho said that we did not do anything to win? There is a good example to prove he is wrong, and it came when Vucinic almost scored with the first counter attack of the game."
Ranieri went on to stoke the flame when he sarcastically thanked Patrick Vieira for elbowing Daniele De Rossi during the game, causing the midfielder to be taken off due to injury.
He exclaimed: "Thank you Vieira, because now De Rossi needs an operation. He always jumps high with his elbows, he did it in England as well,"
