Costa full of praise for Ronaldinho
Former Milan and Portugal midfielder Rui Costa has described Ronaldinho as "sublime" and "marvellous".
The Brazilian playmaker seems to have rediscovered both his form and enthusiasm for the game and has been pulling the strings for the Rossoneri during their recent run of good form.
His assist for Alexandre Pato in the weekend game against Lazio caught the eye of former Milan great Costa who believes that 'Dinho' is the key to the team's success this season.
Speaking to Il Corriere Dello Sport, Costa commented "I saw what he did against Lazio. His cross was sublime. There are not many players who can offer goalscoring passes like he can. He is just marvellous.
"He is a rare case of an assist man who can provide the ball from anywhere."
And Costa, who is now a director at Benfica, believes Ronaldinho's form can be attributed to the expert handling of coach Leonardo.
"Leonardo has done well to help recover Ronaldinho for the good of Milan, and for world football. We must not forget that he is a former Ballon d'Or winner," he added.
However, the spotlight was not directed solely on Ronaldinho. The Portuguese talked of Andrea Pirlo's excellent ball work.
"There is another assist phenomenon who plays for Milan, and he is Pirlo. No-one can play the ball to feet like he can. I am one of his biggest fans," concluded the former Fiorentina man.
