Rubin Kazan retain title
Rubin Kazan retained their Premier Liga title despite being held to a goalless draw at home by Zenit St Petersburg.
Second-placed Spartak Moscow went down 3-2 at home to city rivals CSKA to sit five points behind Rubin with just one game to play.
It is Rubin's second league title after their maiden triumph last year.

Spartak could have kept the title race alive with a victory, but, after taking an early lead, conceded an 88th-minute winner to CSKA.
Alex Meschini put them in front with an eighth-minute penalty, but goals from Alan Dzagoev (45) and Tomas Necid (49) turned the match in the visitors' favour.
Welliton levelled in the 65th minute, but Necid netted his second with two minutes to go to hand victory to CSKA.
Spartak are, though, guaranteed second place as they are four points ahead of Zenit and Lokomotiv Moscow, who won 2-0 at Dinamo Moscow, Dmitri Torbinsky and Wagner with the goals.
At the other end of the table, Kuban Krasnodar are all but relegated despite a 1-0 win at Terek Grozny.
Igor Shevchenko's 54th-minute penalty decided the game, but Krasnodar are still three points behind third-bottom Rostov, who went down 2-1 at Tomsk, and have an inferior goal difference.
Spartak Nalchik and Amkar Perm both secured their top-flight status with 2-0 wins over FC Moscow and already-relegated FC Khimki respectively.
Goals from David Siradze and Shamil Asildarov gave Nalchik victory, while Dmitri Belorukov and Sergei Volkov were on target for Amkar.
Elsewhere, Saturn Moscow were 3-1 winners over Krylya Sovetov.
