AC Milan midfielder Ronaldinho has credited coach Leonardo as the reason behind his improved form.

The Brazilian playmaker had a terrible start to the season which attracted plenty of criticism from fans and press alike - however he has rediscovered his form over the past few weeks and has been the catalyst for Milan's surge up the table.

When asked for the reason behind this turnaround Ronaldinho said "It is easy to work with him [Leonardo], because he knows how I enjoy training and how I like to play.

"The race for the Scudetto is hard, very hard, but we are happy things are becoming easier for us."

The player was then asked about reports that he had taken a vow in front of his team-mates at the beginning of the season, at the urging of president Silvio Berlusconi.

"I will never talk about what happens in the dressing room," he concluded.

The former Barcelona player is unlikely to feature against Cagliari this weekend, after contracting the flu.
