Austria Karnten's woeful season continued as they went down to a 13th defeat in 17 games to Austria Vienna in the Bundesliga.
Emin Sulimani scored the only goal of the game after 36 minutes to leave Karnten 11 points adrift at the foot of the table.
LASK Linz came back from two goals down to rescue a point at home to Sturm Graz.
Jakob Jantscher and Daniel Beichler put the visitors 2-0 ahead but Christian Mayrleb (70) and Roman Wallner (81) grabbed the goals to secure a draw.
In the day's other game, SV Kapfenberg beat FC Magna Wr. Neustadt 3-1 with both teams reduced to 10 men.
Milan Fukal (27) put the home side in front but Mario Reiter (37) equalised before Wolfgang Klapf received his marching orders.
The dismissal of Manuel Schmid after 66 minutes levelled up the numbers but it was the home side who finished the stronger, goals from Srdjan Pavlov (85) and Robert Schellander (90) securing the points.
