Villareal face Getafe on Sunday and their coach Ernesto Valverde will not be happy with anything other than a victory.

The manager has challenged his team to show ambition by carrying on with the winning ways. The Yellow Submarine malfunction last weekend when they fell to Sporting Gijon but managed to unstuck their gears and cruised past Levski Sofia midweek in the Europa league.

Speaking to a press conference the manager insisted that, "After a defeat like Gijon we needed a positive result and we managed that against Levski. Now we're good, calm, but our next goal is to beat Getafe.

"Getafe will come here well organised with few spaces. The three points are needed if the team wants to return to the top. The longer we delay, the harder it will be to achieve that objective."

The coach has also mused about the importance that the fans play in a home match, "At home we feel more comfortable with the support of our fans, that's what pushes us to seek from the first moment of victory."
