Sampdoria goalkeeper Luca Castellazzi will be out of action for at least six weeks through injury.

The 34-year-old sustained ligament damage in his left knee during Sunday's 1-0 defeat to Napoli.

Castellazzi is expected to undergo surgery this week. Samp, who lie 12th in the Serie A standings, having collected just two points in their last six games, host Catania on Sunday.
