Ranocchis welcomes Inter rumours
Andrea Ranocchia has expressed he welcomes links with Inter Milan, but stressed that his future is in the hands of Genoa.
The Italian press has reported that Inter are in advanced talks with Genoa to sign Ranocchia this summer, with the 22-year-old saying: "I'm pleased with this link because Inter are Italian champions and are still in contention for the Champions League: who wouldn't be happy?
"But I don't know anything about it yet. No-one has called me and now I'm just focused on recovering from my injury.
"What will be we'll have to see. I'm a Bari player until June and we'll see what the presidents decide. But the important thing now is for me to get back up and running."
Ranocchia underwent surgery in January after injuring his knee ligaments and hopes to return before the current campaign ends.
"I think it will take a month and a half to train with the team," he explained.
"I have the final consult scheduled for mid-April. I'm feeling well now, I'm working hard and I have resumed running."
