Mohamed Zidan: Arsenal want me

Egyptian striker Mohamed Zidan revealed that English giants Arsenal want him at the Emirates.

The Egyptian star who plays his club football for Borussia Dortmund scored a sensational goal against England last week in an international friendly and the Gunners were said to have approached his agent right after the game.

The Daily Star reported that Zidan's agent broke the news to the player at Wembley.

Zidan said: "My agent spoke to me after the game and told me about Arsenal's interest,

"He asked me to try to impress them, and become the first Egyptian to play for the Gunners."

Zidan was the star of Egypt's triumphant defence of their African Cup of Nations crown in Angola in January and has always attracted the attention of Premier League clubs.
