Marquez: It’ll be nice to win at the Bernabeu
Rafael Marquez has reiterated his desire to win the Champions League at the Bernabeu, as well as La Liga.
Winning both Europe's elite competition and the domestic title would leave Real Madrid with nothing to show for this season.
"If we were to win La Liga, we would leave Real Madrid with nothing and if we were to win the Champions League, we would celebrate it in the Berbaneu," Marquez told AS.
Asked about the mood in the Barcelona camp after Real's defeat in the Champions League, Marquez said: "What happens in the dressing room stays in the dressing room, just like in Las Vegas.
"In both cases, we need to take care so that the same thing that happened to Madrid does not happen to us. I don't think they did not respect their rivals, just that Lyon were simply better."
Marquez went on to stress the importance of this Sunday's game against Valencia.
"The match is a key fixture and David Villa's absence will be important, but the adversary will be dangerous - perhaps a little less without him."
