A host of stars including the biggies of Asian soccer will be present at the Lucozade Sport FPAI Indian Football Awards.

It will also witness Bollywood stars John Abraham and Rahul Bose in a sauve, glittering night celebrating a whole new era of Indian football at Taj Palace in New Delhi on September 12, 2010.

“We are very happy to announce that the AFC and FIFPro Asia have been very cooperative of our efforts along with AIFF. Mr. Alex Soosay, General Secretary of AFC and Mr. Manilal Fernando,Vice-President of AFC will grace the occasion. And a special thanks to AIFF President Praful Patel, who has been has been instrumental in getting the AFC delegation to attend the Lucozade Sport FPAI Indian Football Awards this year.” FPAI President Baichung Bhutia.

“We all know that John Abraham and Rahul Bose are great supporters of football. We are very happy that they will be present in the awards function to show their solidarity with FPAI and support football. Nandana Sen will also be present to show her support. I am so happy and grateful that they found time out of their busy schedule to grace the occasion,” Baichung added.
