Samp receive offer for Maggio
Sampdoria have confirmed they have received an inquiry for wing-back Christian Maggio.
Maggio impressed in a more advanced role last season and is thought to have caught the eye of Serie A rivals Napoli and Premier League side Aston Villa.
Samp general manager Beppe Marotta told the city's Secolo newspaper: "As yet, we have had an inquiry, around 10 million euros, which is not yet tempting us."
He added: "Sadly we are not Real Madrid who can afford to buy a champion each year, if anything we have to sell an important element each year,"
