Tigres close in on Bravo deal

Deportivo La Coruna forward Omar Bravo is poised for a return to his native Mexico to join Tigres on a four-month loan deal with a view to a permanent move.

The 28-year-old joined the Spanish club last summer but has struggled to make an impact.

Tigres vice president, Hector Gonzalez, told Televisa Deportes: "We are really happy. It was a hard and long negotiation process.

"Tomorrow (Saturday) we hope to finalise his contract and wait for international clearance. Everything is arranged for his arrival.

"It is a loan with the chance to buy him. The loan was not cheap, but it is fair for both sides and also has the option to buy.

"He will be here nine games and will remain if we reach the Liguilla (end of season play-offs)."
