Cardenas gets Mexico call-up

Jose Maria Cardenas earned a first international call-up after the Pachuca forward was included in Mexico`s squad.

He is in the squad that will face Bolivia in a warm-up game ahead of the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Coach Sven-Goran Eriksson named a 22-man squad comprised totally of Mexico-based players to face Erwin Sanchez's side in Denver on Wednesday.

Mexico will host Costa Rica on March 28 as they look to bounce back from the 2-0 defeat to the USA, while Bolivia visit Colombia the same day before meeting Argentina three days later.
