Argentina to face Russia
The Argentinian FA have confirmed that Diego Maradona's national side will face Russia in an international friendly in August.
The match in Moscow on August 12 will help both teams to fine tune their preparations for World Cup qualifiers later this year.
Guus Hiddink's Russia side are second in Group Four in the European qualifying zone and host Liechtenstein on September 5 before visiting Wales four days later.
Meanwhile, Argentina will be looking to improve on fourth position in the South American zone when they face a couple of tough assignments in September - a home match against arch-rivals Brazil and a visit to group leaders Paraguay.
According to the Argentinian FA website, the match against Russia will either be played at the 83,000-capacity Luzhniki Olympic Complex or the 28,000-seat Lokomotiv Stadium.
