RKC snap up Boerrigter
Newly-promoted RKC Waalwijk have made their first signing for the forthcoming Eredivisie season with Derk Boerrigter signing a two-year deal.
The 22-year-old left winger, who also has the option of a third year in Waalwijk, was out of contract after spending the last two seasons at FC Zwolle.
RKC director Henry van der Vegt told the club website, www.rkcwaalwijk.nl: "Derk is a young, talented player with a lot of speed and creativity. And he also has a great crossing ability."
Boerrigter began his career with FC Twente before moving to Jong Ajax in 2005 but he did not make the grade with the Amsterdam giants.
