Arocha gets Vinotinto call
Venezuela coach Cesar Farias has called up Ruben Arocha to join the national team ahead of this week's two friendlies against Mexico and Costa Rica.
Zamora midfielder Arocha comes into the squad to replace Salamanca striker Nicolas Fedor, who picked up a leg injury and will miss the exhibition matches in Atlanta.
The Vinotinto flew to the United States earlier today ahead of the first of those games against Mexico at the Georgia Dome on Wednesday.
They will then play Costa Rica at the same venue three days later.
The matches will be the Venezuelan players' last chance to impress before the resumption of their World Cup qualifying campaign in September.
Venezuela can still qualify for the finals in South Africa as they sit just three points behind fifth-placed Uruguay, who are in the play-off position.
