Cristaldo ruled out of decider

Velez Sarsfield forward Jonathan Cristaldo will miss his team's Clausura title decider against Huracan after suffering a knee injury.

The 20-year-old has been ruled out of the crucial game and is expected to be sidelined for between two to three months due to a meniscus problem in his right knee.

The injury was confirmed on the club's official website, which reported that the injury would be re-evaluated in a couple of days and could be operated on this weekend.

The Argentina Under-20 international picked up the injury during Sunday's 1-1 draw at Lanus and was replaced by Juan Martinez 10 minutes into the second half.

The draw saw Velez slip to second in the Clausura table, one point behind leaders Huracan, and they must now win the final-day showdown between the two sides on July 5.
