Patrick Vieira is looking increasingly likely to be on his way out of Inter Milan, with Paris Saint Germain his likely destination.

Vieira, now 33, has fallen out of favour with Inter manager Jose Mourinho after struggling with injuries last season.

PSG have emerged as the frontrunners for the former Arsenal man's signature, with the Parisian club reportedly willing to pay in the region of £6million to £7million.

A key element in the deal is the fact that Vieira's close friend Claude Makelele is also currently playing for PSG.

One issue which may prevent the deal from going through is Vieira's immense contract, which may prove too expensive for the club, although the France international is said to be ready to take a pay cut in order to return to France.
