Lyon's Marino Faccioli insists the transfer of Porto striker Lisandro Lopez does not depend on whether Lucho Gonzalez remains with the Portuguese champions.

Gonzalez has been linked with a move to Marseille, meaning Les Gones' pursuit of Lopez could be under threat with Porto seemingly reluctant to lose both of their Argentina stars.

However, Faccioli claims Gonzalez's situation will not be a factor.

"I don't see how the transfer of Lucho Gonzalez will change something for OL," Faccioli told L'Equipe.

"I am always in contact with Porto. That means the club is always the seller."
