Nilmar's comeback dream
Nilmar called on his team-mates to take inspiration from Brazil's Confederations Cup comeback.
The Selecao were 2-0 down at half-time in Sunday's final against the United States but came back to claim a 3-2 win.
That is the same situation Inter find themselves in after goals from Jorge Enrique and Ronaldo gave Corinthians a two-goal cushion in Sao Paulo.
Nilmar said: "I think it's very important for us to score a goal in the first half.
"For Brazil beating the United States, the early goal in the second half was crucial."
Defender Danny Morais added: "It would be great to score a goal like Brazil did. It wouldn't be decisive, but it would make our job easier."
Inter share the lead in the Campeonato with Atletico Mineiro after a 3-0 win over Coritiba.
Ecuadorian midfielder Luis Bolanos, who scored a hat-trick on Sunday, will miss the match because he played for Santos in previous rounds.
"It's a pity that I can't play. To play the final would have been great, but I will support on the sidelines," said Bolanos.
Ronaldo is hoping to lift his second title since his arrival at Corinthians, having already won the Campeonato Paulista - the Sao Paulo state championship.
"I didn't expect things to be like they are," he said.
"I didn't know how the Corinthians team would be as I didn't watch them much in Serie B.
"The team can turn a game at any moment. We're sound in defence and strong in attack.
"If the board manage to keep the squad together, this team will bring joy to the Corinthians supporters."
Ahead of the Copa do Brasil final, Ronaldo said: "To me, it is one more match, a normal one.
"I should play calmly, study the opponents and know what challenges to expect.
"Every match at Corinthians has a lot of pressure. We must always win. In the finals, it's even bigger, but I won't change my mindset."
The Copa do Brasil champions will book a place in the 2010 Copa Libertadores.
