Erding completes PSG switch

Mevlut Erding is delighted to have finally signed for PSG, bringing to an end negotiations with former club Sochaux.

The Ligue 1 outfits have been in talks over Erding for the past month and finally came to an agreement which saw the 22-year-old put pen to paper on a four-year deal at the Parc des Princes today.

"I am very proud to wear this shirt," Erding told the club's official website, www.psg.fr. "I've been hoping for it for a month.

"The negotiations were long and today I am very happy to be here, at the Parc des Princes, and to have signed for PSG.

"My ambition is first to continue to progress and also strongly to score goals.

"The stadium, the supporters, the colour of the shirt have all already made me dream since I was younger. It's also for this reason that I am really happy to be here today."

Erding progressed through the ranks at Sochaux before making his debut in 2006 and the Turkey international has been the club's top goalscorer the past two seasons.
