An Alexander Bukharov hat-trick earned Rubin Kazan a 3-2 win at FC Khimki and sent them top of the Russian Premier Liga.

Bukharov struck after 21, 56 and 63 minutes to put Rubin in control after Maksim Zinoviev's opener.

Substitute Ivan Cvetkovic grabbed a second for the hosts three minutes from time, but it was too little too late.

Rubin are now a point clear of second-placed FC Moscow after 12 games, while Khimki remain rock bottom, still without a win this season.
