Korean Ki denies PSV talks

South Korea midfielder Ki Sung-yong insists he knows nothing about a possible transfer to Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven.

Earlier this week, the FC Seoul star was linked with a move to Holland by daily newspaper Sports Seoul but, talking to reporters after Seoul's midweek League Cup draw with Incheon United, Ki insisted there is nothing in the pipeline.

"I don't know anything about any transfer," he said.

"There are lots of stories around but at the moment I am just focused on FC Seoul and doing my best for them."

The player's agent has also dismissed the reports claiming Ki is ready to follow in the footsteps of compatriots Park Ji-sung and Lee Young-pyo in joining PSV.

Ki, who has been linked to Hamburg and Porto in the past, is one of Asia's most highly-rated youngsters having played 15 games for South Korea by the age of 20 and he has made no secret of his desire to play in Europe.
