VVV-Venlo have have signed veteran midfielder Patrick Paauwe after he was released from his contract by Borussia Monchengladbach.

The 33-year-old indicated yesterday he was keen to join the Limburg side and completed the deal today after buying out his Gladbach contract, having been training with the reserves.

"I'm looking forward to getting started and I hope I can be of use on the pitch," Paauwe says in De Limburger newspaper.
