Lee staying with Jubilo Iwata

South Korean Lee Keun-ho has signed a new one-year deal with J.League side Jubilo Iwata after failing to get a transfer to Europe.

The 24-year-old forward had trials with the likes of Paris St Germain and a number of other clubs on the continent, but was forced to return to Iwata after failing to land a deal.

Before leaving the Japanese side Lee scored six times in as many games.

"I know I have caused some Iwata fans concern, but I am happy to be back with the club," he told the club's website.

Lee has played his part in South Korea reaching the 2010 World Cup with three goals in the qualification stage.
