Ligue 1 pre-season review
Paris St Germain warmed up for Ligue 1 title attack with a 3-0 away victory over Fiorentina in a pre-season friendly.
The capital club put out their strongest team possible in Florence last night and won easily, with Mevlut Erding and Ludovic Giuly scoring in the first half and Peguy Luyindula adding the third after the break.
Elsewhere, Baky Kone's goal on the hour mark secured Marseille a 1-0 win over St Etienne in Valence.
ASSE coach Alain Perrin was sent from the dug-out in the first half of the match for contesting a refereeing decision.
In other friendlies involving Ligue 1 teams, Auxerre beat Dijon 2-1, Rennes drew 0-0 with Nantes, Lens beat Greek outfit Panthrakikos 1-0 and Le Mans defeated Beauvais 3-1.
