Amri called up for Singapore

Khairul Amri has been called up to the Singapore squad that will play the People’s Republic of China on 12 August for the National Day Challenge.

Amri, who has been out of action since November last year, returned to action when he came on as a substitute with 15 minutes to go for Tampines Rovers on Sunday evening against Singapore Armed Forces FC.

However missing from the squad is Home United's Lionel Lewis who dislocated his shoulder against Super Reds on 29 June. The uncapped Jasper Chan from Young Lions replaces him in the squad.
