Toulouse 2-2 Club Brugge
Ivan Perisic's stoppage-time equaliser gave Club Brugge a deserved Europa League draw at grief-stricken Toulouse.
Joseph Akpala broke the deadlock seven minutes into the second half when Brugge but their lead lasted just two minutes before Moussa Sissoko celebrated getting his second France call up today with the equaliser.
It looked as though Andre Pierre Gignac's 84th-minute goal would hand all three points to Toulouse but Perisic levelled matters in the dying seconds.
Toulouse are two points behind Group J leaders Shakhtar Donetsk with Brugge three points further back.
A minute's silence was held before kick-off in honour of Brice Taton, a Toulouse fan who died this week from injuries suffered in violent clashes with Partizan Belgrade supporters a fortnight ago.
Paulo Machado almost got the hosts off to the perfect start but his 35-yard free-kick was straight at Bruges goalkeeper Stijn Stijnen.
Chances were few and far between in a first half which the Belgians dominated without ever really creating any danger.
However, Toulouse almost gifted them the lead in embarrassing fashion in the 24th minute as Yohann Pele caught Ronald Vargas but his impetus went extremely close to carrying him over the goalline.
The hosts also went close seconds later and Stijnen did well to keep out Gignac's 30-yard screamer.
Both sides were much improved after the break and Akpala opened the scoring in sublime fashion in the 52nd minutes when he volleyed home Jonathan Blondel's cross from 30 yards.
Their lead lasted a matter of minutes however, before Sissoko latched onto Mathieu Berson's shot, feinted past Koen Daerden and rattled in the equaliser off Stijnen's left post.
The game had briefly burst into life but it once again died down shortly after the hour mark as both teams cancelled each other out.
Toulouse took the lead in somewhat fortunate circumstances six minutes from time when a poorly cleared corner fell to Sissoko who fired it back in the box towards Gignac who leapt into the air only to see it soar above him.
However, Stijnen's fumbled clearance crashed off Gignac who knew little about it.
But practically the very last kick of the game saw Vargas send a 40-yard ball into the area which Perisic headed home.
