Grenoble vs Nancy Preview

Grenoble take on Nancy on Saturday, still looking for their first points of the season and a cure to their goalscoring ills.

With just four goals all season and two in their last five outings, the home side will start the match at the Stade des Alpes as second favourites.

But Grenoble boss Mecha Bazdarevic is confident his players can turn their season around.

"I repeat it week after week - the team has always been highly motivated," he said.

"The players are working well and they will put their heart and soul into breaking the bad run.

"But that is not enough. Even if training is good, the results do not necessarily follow."

Defender David Jemmali will make his return to action after missing the last two games through suspension, while goalkeeper Jody Viviani and midfielder Martial Robin have recovered after being rated doubtful in the week.

Bazdarevic is hoping for more defensive solidity, blaming "the small errors made in each match which have been costly".

Nancy will travel hoping to bounce back from their 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Marseille which ended an unbeaten home record.

They have not won on the road since a 3-1 win at Valenciennes on the opening day of the season.

They will be without goalkeeper Gennaro Bracigliano once again, because he has not yet recovered from the wrist injury which ruled him out of the match against Marseille. But midfielder Reymald Lemaitre is fit to play.
