Stockport 5-0 Tooting & Mitcham
There was never a hint of an FA Cup shock at Edgeley Park as Stockport eased to a 5-0 victory over Tooting & Mitcham.
County dominated the first half and already had the tie wrapped up by the interval.
Peter Thompson scored first in the 13th minute when he pounced from close range after Dave King could only parry Paul Turnbull's initial shot and seven minutes later it was 2-0 when Michael Rose played in David Poole and he shot home from an acute angle.
Carl Baker then scored his 11th goal of the season from the spot with 37 minutes gone. He slotted home after Thompson had been felled in the box by Dean Hamlin.
Baker also struck the crossbar before the break, but Stockport grabbed their fourth goal midway through the second period when Turnbull hit home a rebound after King couldn't hold onto Poole's shot.
Four minutes later Turnbull struck again after being expertly teed up by Baker.
