Olympiacos could only move one point clear at the top of the Greek Super League after being held to a 1-1 draw at home to Iraklis.
Enzo Maresca put the home side in front on 40 minutes but substitute Apostolos Vellios snatched a point with an injury-time equaliser.
PAOK Salonika are third in the table after a 2-1 win away to Panthrakikos.
Adelino Vieirinha (26) and Pablo Garcia (56) put the visitors in command and they held on for the win after Bedi Buval pulled a goal back on 69 minutes.
The day's other game saw no goals but plenty of incident as Kavala drew 0-0 at Aris Salonika despite ending the game with just eight men.
Pierre Ducrocq was the first to see red on 68 minutes and Vangelis Economou (89) and Benjamin Onwuachi (90) joined him in the dressing room in a fiery end to the game.
