A brace from Odafe Okolie powered Churchill Brothers to a 3-2 victory over Dempo Sports Club in the I-League in Margao.
Okolie steered Churchill ahead in the eighth minute, converting a penalty after Kalu Nnanna was felled in the area.
But Dempo fought back in style with Ranty Martins levelling scores by heading in a cross from Anthony Pereira in the 23rd minute.
Martins then gave Dempo the lead nine minutes later, booting home off a pass from Sunil Chettri, but Churchill ruined their hopes with a late second-half flourish.
Felix Chimaokwu equalised in the 79th minute and Okolie put away a pass from Dan Ito three minutes from time to hand his team victory.
At the Cooperage, Mumbai FC scored their second win in seven matches by defeating JCT 2-0.
The first half ended goalless, but Mumbai took the lead just past the hour when Abbas Mohammad scored off a pass from Abhishek Yadav.
Yadav doubled the lead by converting a penalty in the 81st minute as Mumbai walked off convincing winners.
Ayeni Daniel scored a goal late in injury time as Shillong Lajong held Pune FC to a 1-all draw.
Shanmugam Venkatesh gave the home side the lead in the 66th minute, but Daniel's injury-time goal spoilt the party for Pune FC.
