Friendly: Chile 2-1 Slovakia

Chile beat fellow World Cup qualifiers Slovakia 2-1 in a friendly in Zilina.

Chile, whose game with Germany on Saturday was called off following the death of Robert Enke, went ahead after only nine minutes through Gonzalo Jara but Stanislav Sestak levelled for the home side in the 17th minute.

Colo Colo striker Esteban Paredes scored 10 minutes into the second half to secure victory for Chile, who finished second behind Brazil in South American qualifying.

World Cup hosts South Africa were held to a goalless draw by Jamaica in Bloemfontein.

Belgium, who could only finish fourth in their World Cup qualifying group, were 2-0 winners over Qatar in Sedan thanks to goals from Standard Liege's Axel Witsel (20) and Club Brugge's Wesley Sonck (54).
