Nancy vs Bordeaux Preview
Bordeaux will again be without key midfielder Yoann Gourcuff as they travel to Nancy in Ligue 1.
The France playmaker injured the adductor muscle of his left thigh in the controversial World Cup play-off win over the Republic of Ireland and will sit out the meeting with Pablo Correa's side, as will Carlos Henrique (knee).
Franck Jurietti, Abdou Keita and Jussie joined the pair in doing extra training work with physio David Das Neves this week, and Jussie hopes to feature tomorrow.
The Brazilian striker told the club's official website: "I feel good. If all goes well I will be ready for the next match."
Les Girondins come into the game on the back of a 2-0 Champions League win over Juventus, but have lost their last two league matches.
Jussie added: "It will be a difficult match because we know teams in France defend well.
"A team like Juve will leave gaps and you can express yourself. Against Nancy we can expect a game similar to that against Valenciennes (which brought a 1-0 defeat).
"It is imperative that we bring points home, either a win or a draw. This is the minimum since we are coming into the game after two (league) defeats.
"We must play our game and concentrate on ourselves before thinking about our opponents."
Nancy have Moroccan defender Michael Chretien back in training, but Icelandic striker Veigar Gunnarsson misses out with an ankle injury.
Gunnarsson has been linked with a return to former club Stabaek and team director Nicolas Holveck did little to play down exit talks when he told the club website: "For now, we have had no direct contact with them.
"We would not oppose his departure."
