Toulouse 1-0 Boulogne
Mohamed Fofana's first-half goal was enough for Toulouse to get back to winning ways.
Les Violets saw a four-match unbeaten run ended by Nice last Sunday, but had the better of the game against Laurent Guyot's strugglers.
But they were grateful for a brave injury-time save by keeper Yohann Pele, who left the field injured after putting his body on the line to preserve the advantage.
Andre-Pierre Gignac was first to threaten for the hosts as Jean-Francois Bedenik saved his left-foot drive.
The keeper, recalled following a shoulder injury after Ibrahim Kone and Matthieu Valverde's recent travails, then kept out Moussa Sissoko's volley from Etienne Didot's cross as Toulouse pressed.
Pele thwarted Johann Ramare after a rare Boulogne break but Alain Casanova's side were soon in front as Bedenik came off his line and failed to cut out Didot's free-kick and Fofana headed into the empty net.
Pele reacted quickly to keep out another Ramare effort before Bedenik was called upon to save Gignac's superb scissor-kick.
Gignac went close again shortly after the interval as his shot whistled past the top corner of the goal, and the France striker then crossed to Franck Tabanou, whose effort was blocked on the line.
But Boulogne pressed late on and Kevin Das Neves' volley from outside the box was brilliantly tipped away by Pele.
And the keeper then had to be replaced by Olivier Blondel after colliding with striker Matt Moussilou as he prevented an equaliser in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
